Role Summary/Purpose 
The Vital Validation Test Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of requirements based and performance-based software tools, scripts, and tests to ensure independent validation of product requirements. In this role you will design, implement, and manage software and script test tools to provide the required level of test coverage. 

Essential Responsibilities 
In addition you will:


  • Develop automated tests via MS Studio (MFC C++, C#, etc.) custom apps, National Instruments Labview, and National Instruments Test Stand scripting

  • Create and maintenance of tool validation to maintain test compliance

  • Ensure documentary evidence of tool changes through configuration management control via SW change requests, CCBs, etc.

    Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline from an accredited college or university

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Desired Characteristics 

  • Experience with app development using MS Studio (MFC C++, C#, VB Net, etc.), including; program deployment

  • Experience SW source control

  • Working knowledge in configuration management and defect tracking tools 

  • Understanding and translating test requirements to software solutions

  • Experience with System Testing Processes, Tools, and Automation

  • Ability to creatively solve complex problems

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment

  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with both customers and internal and external employees
