Rockwell Collins is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in the Test Engineering and Services Center of Excellence. This position is in a shared services organization that provides test solutions for Government and Commercial Systems products. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and support of deployed PTS-100 and AutoTest Power Supply Test Solutions.
This position will be part of a cross-functional team that plans out and develops test solutions for new or existing products. The team will be led by a project engineer that assigns and tracks tasks. Tasks would include integrating new hardware and software on new and existing test stations, which includes designing test equipment (fixtures, cables, cards, etc) and development of software to exercise the product under test on the test station. Once integrated and bugs worked out, the employee must properly release the hardware, software, and test documents. The test stations developed and supported are used in manufacturing, design team labs, and field service support areas.
