As part of the Engineering team, you will be involved in the development and integration of various software programs for validation systems. The Engineering team develops a range of custom data acquisition systems to help our customers obtain accurate measurements and results. These systems are renowned for providing fast data throughput and extreme data integrity, while accelerating design cycles and reducing prototyping costs.
This Senior Software Developer (C#, Python,LabVIEW/TestStand) position is for a mandate located in Mountain View, California.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate in a few words:
• Degree: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in electrical engineering, software engineering or physics.
•Certified: LabVIEW (CLD, CLA and CLAD) and/or Teststand (CTD and CTA ) are strong assests.
• Experience: minimum 7 years experience in software development with LabVIEW and/or NI Teststand (including LVOOP). Expertise in C#, Python, RF, optical products and technologies, motion control, SQL database are strong assets, in addition to the knowledge of the manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency: Possess good experience with multitask application development, use of design patterns, use of standard libraries, tools for source control and Visual Studio.
• Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of XML, Knowledge of Windows operating system, TCP, HTTP and UDP protocols, Experience in designing GUI as well as the quality assurance process and unit testing.
• Authorization of working in USA
• Available to travel according to project and client location: up to 20-40% (domestic or international).
