Job description
Hire and lead a technical sales team that sells products, platforms, and custom turnkey systems for automated test, data acquisition, and control. Develop, implement, and oversee all sales procedures. Manage key accounts. Perform sales planning and forecasting. Provide strategic feedback for marketing, engineering, and operations as a member of the executive leadership team. Report to the company President.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Five or more years of sales management experience
- Successful track record hiring and directing a sales team for a small, growing high-tech company
- BS Engineering, MBA
- Equally adept at building a new team and working with an existing team
- High energy, motivation, and enthusiasm; rapidly responsive communicator
- Highly reliable, honest, assertive, and detail oriented
- Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Experience serving aerospace, electronics, and energy industrie
- Accessible to company offices in Marlborough, MA; Windsor, CT; and Fair Lawn, NJ. Travel throughout North America.
