Job description
- The Test Equipment Development Department at Orbotech requires an electronics engineer.
- The role of this job is to develop systems in a multi-disciplinary environment. The engineer will be responsible for the requirements definition and system characterization of various components, project support and managed in front of the professional disciplines.
All with an emphasis on the development of electronic design, writing software and support for optical/mechanical design,
until final system integration into the TE.
- True team player, creative, ability to work in a dynamic environment, good interpersonal relationships, and ability to motivate people.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering Bachelor’s degree – mandatory
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (specializing in electro – optics/Image processing) – an advantage
- At least three-years experience in analog and digital hardware (board design) in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience in programming, C + + and / or C and / or LabView – a significant advantage
- Experience in developing test equipment – a significant advantage
- Motor control experience – an advantage
