Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to vehicle OEMs on site for electronic controlled pneumatic chassis control products. Support will be required from concept, including pre-production and through production, providing assistance with integration of these systems into OEM platforms. Primary markets include, but are not limited to, commercial and defense. Travel is
required for customer support.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
· Liaison between product engineering team and vehicle OEMs. While providing on-site technical support to vehicle OEMs and business units.
· Ability and willingness to travel, sometimes with short notice.
· Notify Product Engineering of conditions requiring more complex resolution, recurring failures or service issues or identified product limitations. Make recommendations for design or procedural changes.
· On vehicle software installation, test, calibration and data collection. Supervise electronics hardware installation.
· Generate and manage maintenance manuals, interface control documents and tracking information for development systems in field. Strong technical written and verbal communication skills required.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Support of performance and durability testing.
· Modify and repair units at the customer site.
· Manage supplier for delivery of prototype units to customer.
· Assist in DFMEA activities.
· Assist in drawing release to ensure most current changes.

Qualifications
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:
· Vehicle J1939/CAN communication experience.
· CANalyzer and CANape,
· LabVIEW programming
· Basic Hand tools
· Oscilloscopes & Multimeters
· Computer and common related peripherals.
· Ability to understand electrical and pneumatic prints and diagrams
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years' experience may accept co-op experience as substitute
· Applicant must be willing to travel up to 60%.
· Strong computer skills
· Good communication skills to interface with engineers and technicians
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
· 5 years Automotive System Integration experience preferred
· Matlab and Simulink programming experience
· US Citizen or green card holder
· Ability to design circuit and wiring harnesses a plus
