The Role:
As part of a systems team, you will work alongside Systems Engineers who are subject matter experts of their fields. You will be responsible for designing sensor sub-systems, selecting sensors, drivers and transducers, improving system quality, working with software/product design engineers to optimize performance and initiate new designs. You will be involved in projects from concept through production, gaining exposure to the complete design lifecycle. You will also support engineering builds gaining experience with high volume manufacturing. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
In this role, you will:
· Create innovative sensor design schemes and set targets for new projects
· Perform sensor regression tests on shipping products and generate sensor performance report
· Validate hardware/software and debug issues
· Help to develop automated test tools (SoundCheck, LabVIEW)
· Travel to support engineering builds as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
· 1+ years of related experience
· Experience in sensor design, measurement instruments, and automation
Preferred Qualifications
· Master’s degree
· Mobile electronics and wireless technologies is highly desirable
