Job Purpose

A PCB Test Development Engineer is required to develop PCB functional test solutions for new and existing products within the industry, best practice guidelines, safety regulation, and reliability criteria, with the objective of supplying reliable, stable, repeatable PCB functional test solutions to manufacturing centres globally. 

The role's main responsibilities will include: 

-Provide off the shelf PCB functional test solutions to meet Control Techniques Global test requirements, by development of a range of test equipment, evaluation and approval of other manufactures test equipment.

-Design or specify PCB functional test equipment (software and / or hardware) to meet the requirements defined in the project brief supplied by Project Engineer or Test Development Manager

-Following approved CT Test design principles

-Be flexible in terms of working hours and periodic international travel.

-Provide informal weekly progress reports to the GTD project engineer leading the team.

-Provide full documentation and procedures for users and global support engineering 

Job Requirements 

Qualifications, Experience and profile: 

-Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree or HNC

-2 to 3 years relevant experience

-Experience of PCB functional testing 

-Knowledge of testing principles

-Proficient in Test Stand/Lab view, understanding of Visual Basic

-Good understanding of Microsoft Office software suite

Notes: 

1. We cannot offer Visa Sponsorship on this role currently so you must have an EU Passport or a full permission to remain in the UK (eg. A full UK Visa)

3. Relocation support is available within the UK or in exceptional circumstances we may consider EU.
