Education: Bachelor/master degree in Software or Electrical engineering or Physics

We?re looking for a highly talented software engineer, who is exceptionally motivated and is able to drive himself/herself to be the best in the field. The position requires working in a fast paced environment where engineers, physicists, and technicians work closely together. The candidate will be expected to work not only on software/firmware, but also on testing, debugging, assisting other engineers, and documenting. Team spirit and a positive attitude are essential.
Skills
Advanced LabVIEW programming (Required)
Digital Signal Processor/microcontroller firmware programming (Optional)
C# expertise (Optional)
Experience in optics (Optional)
Expertise in one of the optional fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of lab test and measurement equipment like oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, etc., is desirable.
Primary Responsibilities
Supports product development through software and firmware design, development, and testing.
Accept and meet project and customer-driven deliverables and deadlines. This may include writing software and firmware codes and ensuring that the code is bug free and tested against applicable specifications.
Supports research through design and test. This may involve exploring new technologies. Assist in new algorithm development and verification.
Supports Operations and Sales when assigned by Manager. Support activities may involve software support, testing, system setup and installation etc.
Documents all work in a professional manner so that similarly qualified engineers can understand and reproduce it. Responsible for checking own design, test documentations, etc., into documentation control.
