Engineering Consultant – Avionic Systems Development Engineer 

Location: Savannah, GA
Salary: $58 to $63/Hour USD
Per Diem: $110/Wk
Split Rate: $1176/Wk (i.e. the first $1176 per week is not taxable)
Contract Duration: 1 Year + (up to 4 years)

Position Purpose:
Guides successful completion of major engineering programs, or conceives research in areas of considerable scope and complexity supporting the development and production of Gulfstream products and services.

Unique Skills:
• Working knowledge of DO-178 and DO-160 
• Familiar with MatLab and LabView a plus 
• Certified / Instrument Pilot a plus
• Highly experienced Avionics Engineer
• 10 + years’ experience
• Motivated self-starter
• Problem solver
• Experience in complex systems simulation – X-Plane, iData, VAPS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for system requirements capture, requirements development, certification plans, system test plans, system testing and system certification
