Position Description: The Test Engineer will support existing test software and develop new test and application support software using National Instrument's software products for internal and external use. They will work closely with Product Engineering to define product level production test strategies, define test requirements, and will be responsible for the hardware and software implementation of those tests. This individual must be hands-on and detail oriented with the initiative to ask questions of design and product engineering team when necessary. A high degree of cross-functional coordination is required.

Responsibilities: Test plan and program support and development for RF modules including manufacturing, validation and characterization tests. Work with our Contract Manufacturing partners to support production test program, hardware, and new methodology implementation. Test fixture review, design and debug. Generate and maintain Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) support programs for manufacturing RF module products. Act as primary technical interface for all responsible products' test issues. 

Required Qualifications: 

BSEE or equivalent. 
2-5 years of hands on experience with National Instrument's LabView and TestStand programming. 
NI Certification preferred. 
Experience with a variety of test equipment and NI hardware. 
Strong understanding of module test and measurement methodology. 
RF experience preferred. 
Experienced with supporting test in a high volume manufacturing environment. 
Demonstrated ability to work with contracted test services (local and off-shore CM, test houses, etc.) and drive work to completion. 
Experience with design and fabrication of error proof fixtures (Poke-yoke). 
Experience with Test Time Reduction strategies with well-defined time savings / decreased test coverage analysis. 
A strong work ethic, ability to solve problems and work independently. 
Experience and success working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with tight deadline requirements. 
Demonstrated PC skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and statistical analysis tools. 
Excellent communication and documentation skills. Some travel will be required.
